“This world won’t change unless we are willing to change ourselves.” — Rigoberta Menchú

BIO

I graduated with a degree in psychology, and although my idea was to fully dedicate myself to therapy, shortly after, I joined an international NGO and took over the coordination of what were to become leading educational centers in one of the most deprived areas of Guatemala. Thus began the adventure of getting to know the world and the different socioeconomic and human realities within it.

Soon, I was offered the opportunity to implement the same system I had created in the rest of the organization's centers in several countries in Latin America and Asia. This allowed me to expand my vision and gain deep insights into organizational management, and develop my leadership skills. I settled in Lima and began traveling constantly between different countries, training teams in each region.

After a few years of significant expansion, I decided to return to Spain and began working for a third-sector organization. This institution managed more than 30 projects across Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, in the areas of gender-based violence, social and professional integration, children's rights, and justice. What began as a short-term substitution eventually became a five-year position as deputy director, with the goal of promoting organizational change based on decentralization and the participation of all the organization's departments. My objective was to foster a shared vision and commitment among management and the more than 250 professionals who worked there, achieving better utilization of human potential and more efficient management of all areas.

Once the process was completed, I left the position to join the creation of two projects: one in Alicante for the social and professional integration of women at risk of social exclusion, which culminated in the launch of a Social Enterprise, and another for the educational and productive development of a community in the Maasai Mara, Kenya.

As time passed, the projects grew, and the dedication and effort they required began to weigh heavily. So many years of dedication to improving the living conditions of the most disadvantaged had clearly shown me that it was difficult to resolve the human and planetary imbalances that caused these situations, and amid such absurdity, the solution lay within.

I began to reconnect with my original calling as a therapist and began taking on some individual therapy cases. I completed the SAT process with the Claudio Naranjo Foundation, placing increasing emphasis on my process of self-discovery. I eventually decided to leave the projects and focus on therapy and consulting, simplifying my life and, for the first time, prioritizing my well-being.

Since then, I have been in a process of constant renewal. Thanks to the many resources I've acquired during my training and professional experience, along with the invaluable personal lessons’ life has given me, sometimes very difficult to digest, I've been integrating what I've learned and putting it at the service of the people I work with. After many years of seeking improvement through large-scale projects, I've come to the conclusion that true revolution comes from consciously and responsibly taking ownership of and addressing our own lives.

If we transform ourselves, we transform the world.
