“This world won’t change unless we are willing to change ourselves.” — Rigoberta Menchú
BIO
I graduated in Psychology and, although my intention was to devote myself fully to therapy, shortly afterward I joined a international NGO, and I took on the coordination of what would become leading educational institutions in one of the most deprived areas of
Guatemala. Thus began the adventure of getting to know the world and the different
socioeconomic and human realities within it.
Before long, I was asked to implement the same system I had created in the rest of the organisation's centres, in several countries in Latin America and AsiaThat took me to another level of insight, teaching me a great deal about organisational management and develop my management skillsI took up residence in Lima and began travelling constantly between different countries, training teams in each region.
After a few years of rapid expansion, I decided to return to Spain and started working for a third sector organisation that managed more than 30 projects in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands in the areas of gender violence, social and labour integration, childhood and justice. What began as a few months' temporary replacement ended up becoming a five-year job as deputy director, with the aim of promoting a cambio organizacional basado en la descentralización y la participación de todos los departamentos de la entidad. Mi objetivo era favorecer una visión y compromiso común entre la dirección y los más de 250 profesionales que trabajaban en ella, consiguiendo un mejor aprovechamiento del potencial humano y una gestión más eficiente de todas las áreas.
Once the process was complete, I left my position to join the launch of two projects: one in Alicante for the social and labour market integration of women at risk of exclusion, which resulted in the creation of a Social Enterprise, and another for the Educational and productive development of a community in Maasai Mara, Kenya.
As time went by, the projects grew, and the dedication and effort they required began to take their toll. So many years of commitment to improving the living conditions of the most disadvantaged had clearly shown me that it was difficult to resolve the imbalances at the human and planetary level that caused these situations and that, in the face of such absurdity, the exit was inside.
I began to reconnect with my original vocation as a therapist and to accept some individual therapy cases. I did the SAT process with the Claudio Naranjo Foundation, placing increasing emphasis on my process of self-discovery, and finally decided to abandon the projects and focus on Therapy and Consultancy, simplifying my daily life, while, for the first time in my life, prioritising my own wellbeing.
Since then, I feel like I'm sitting on a process of constant renewalThanks to the many resources I have acquired during my training and professional experience, together with the invaluable personal lessons that life has taught me, some of which were very difficult to digest, I have integrated what I have learned and put it at the service of the people I accompany. After many years of seeking improvement through large projects, I have come to the conclusion that true revolution comes from consciously and responsibly accepting and attending to our own lives.

If we transform ourselves, we transform the world.
